  17. GAME IS TOO SLOW
  18.  
  19.         ΓÇó Turn off unneeded system extensions when you boot
  20.            up your computer.  You can turn off all extensions by
  21.        holding down the shift key when starting your computer,
  22.        or use the Extension Manager control panel.

  24.         ΓÇó Turn off Ram Doubler on an '040 if you have enough free RAM.

  26.         ΓÇó In the options screen, you can:

  28.           - Turn on ΓÇ£draw every other lineΓÇ¥.
  29.  
  30.           - Turn down sound quality.
  31.  
  32.           - Turn off sound smoothing.
  33.  
  34.           - Turn off stereo mixing.
  35.             
  36.           - Note that turning the sound or music completely off
  37.                    will give hardly any speed improvement.

  39. SOUND PROBLEMS

  41.         ΓÇó If the music crackles, turn down the music volume.

  43.         ΓÇó On faster machines, turn on sound smoothing.

  45. THE GAME CRASHES

  47.         ΓÇó Try freeing up more RAM for Death From Above.  It should run
  48.        well with 8 MB free.

  50.         ΓÇó If it crashes on an '040 with enough free RAM, try turning on         
  51.              RAM Doubler or virtual memory (in the Memory control panel).
